Princeton Engineering Council
The Princeton Engineering Council (E-Council) is the representative body for engineering students at Princeton University. The E-Council’s mission is to improve the quality of engineering education, promote awareness of the relation between engineering and society, and facilitate discussion on the social implications of technology. In addition to providing ways for students to get connected with the wide range of career options available in and outside the profession of engineering, the E-Council offers opportunities for student interaction, feedback to faculty and administration, and the planning of new facilities and programs.

We organize initiatives that recognize excellence in teaching, provide resources to ease the transition for new students, and compile valuable information on summer internships for Princeton engineers. We also sponsors study breaks, athletic competitions between departments, and collaborative efforts with other engineering student organizations. Our goal is to build community, foster professional and personal growth, and strengthen the connection between students, faculty, alumni, and the broader engineering network.
